Tuchel is happy that he didn’t have a muscle problem after running in the celebration

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed that he is impressed by a bookmaker’s choice of him as his favourite, if he faces Antonio Conte in a boxing match.

This choice comes in light of the events that took place at Stamford Bridge in the London derby, which ended in a 2-2 draw between Chelsea and Tottenham.

The German coach spoke on Sky channel when he learned that one of the individuals preferred him against Conte, as he made it clear that he did not have the muscles that would make him win

What happened previously?

The dispute erupted between Tuchel and Conte after Tottenham scored the first equalizer after a powerful shot from Hojbjerg, as the Italian headed to the Chelsea bench while celebrating in a strong way as usual.

Which provoked Tuchel, who physically bumped him in that shot, and things did not stop there, after the Blues scored their second goal, the German rushed to run and celebrated in an exciting way.

After the match, both coaches went to greet each other before leaving for the locker room, but things flared up when Conte did not look at Tuchel as he greeted him, which made the German clash with him again.

In the post-match press conference, Tuchel indicated his muscle strength, while Conte posted a message on Instagram threatening the Italian coach Tuchel.

What did Tuchel say?

When Tuchel learned that he had been chosen as the favourite against Conte in a boxing match, he said: “They made me the favourite? I’m surprised, I don’t have muscles!”

When asked about showing his muscles at the press conference, he explained: “I did the opposite, people ask me why are you rude? I said I can’t because I don’t have muscles, and it came in the exact opposite way.”

And about his running after his team’s second goal, he concluded: “I am glad that I did not get a muscle injury from this start, and when I was running I asked myself: What are you doing still so much that it is not the winning goal in the last minute?”
