It seems that the controversy will continue to follow Barcelona President Joan Laporta wherever he goes, after his appearance at the Camp Nou stadium today during his club’s match against Valladolid in the third round of the Spanish League.
The Catalan club president appeared next to his counterpart, Valladolid president Ronaldo de Lima, and was wearing sunglasses at first before taking them off.
The controversy occurred when he took off his glasses that showed a clear bruise under his right eye, apparently trying to hide it with glasses.
Laporta himself has not commented on the matter until this moment, but press reports confirmed that the Catalan club president had a small home accident.
Radio “Cadena Cuba” on the “Timbo de Khoigo” program confirmed this news, which sparked more controversy over Laporta’s image on social media.
The first half of the match ended with Barcelona leading by two goals, the first came by Robert Lewandowski and the second by Pedri Gonzalez.
It is worth noting that Barcelona had collected four points before that match, after drawing with Rayo Vallecano without goals and beating Real Sociedad by four.
